Instrument Application for Industrial Quality Control

Plasma Plus┬áis all for Science & Technology. But S&T is expensive and yet indispensable. As the country’s first not-for-profit private scientific laboratory, we have certain obligations. It is with this in mind, we are pleased to introduce a round the year training course on the popular measuring modalities used in scientific research, education and industry, in collaboration with AQ Chowdhury, a pioneer in laboratory instruments. The effort is essentially to complement our academic institutes, research centres and industry.

The courses are actually a part of our highly successful programme “Continuing Education in Science & Medicine” introduced in 1999. The popularity of this programme has literally forced us to offer it now on a regular basis. Customers choose from a variety of courses designed to suit different competency levels. The contents are also constantly reviewed to meet the ever changing analytical environment. Our customer support module will continue to meet the requirements of time. The courses comprise of:

State-of-the-art instruments defying obsolescence
Top of the line instructors with overseas training
“Hands on” training
Direct support to our customer by our in-house scientists
Superb documentation

Plasma Plus organises training programmes on major analytical modalities in Spectroscopy and Chromatography.

Objectives of the Courses

General

Provide a basic understanding of an analytical modality commonly used for quantitative and qualitative measurements.
Overview the capabilities of the analytical measurement system
Demonstrate how and what information can be extracted from the analytical system
How to maintain the functional behavior and the effectiveness of the system
Troubleshooting
Interpretation of the results
Quantification and quality assurance protocols
Operating procedures of the instrumental analysis

Areas of Training

Different modules of training courses have been developed on subjects such as Gas Chromatography, High Performance Chromatography, Gas Chromatograph-Mass Spectroscopy, Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy, Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy, UV-VIS Spectroscopy, TOC Analysis, etc.

Specific aspects of Training

Theory, instrumentation and applications, QA/QC protocols and method validation. “Hands on” practical classes.
Evaluation tests are held on each course to assess the analytical mind of each participant
